  The people seem genuinely nice but the teachings are misleading. The studies are far outdated and are not all-inclusive as far as the basic Christian foundation necessary to actually call yourself a Christian. The discipleship system seems unnecessary or at best overbearing to the point of stalking. The dating system is completely ridiculous and unnecessary even looking at it through a "bible lens" though I would never personally date anyone within that church. The sin study is too invasive and also unnecessary for a new member to endure. The people can be completely judgmental towards anyone outside of the church. The church also is not -that- diverse in comparison to other churches like Celebration Church. They also become completely uninterested in your existence after you've decided not to join their church which leads me to believe they only care about numbers, not people. Lastly, they all have the annoying habit of using verbatim nomenclature to get their point across instead of having genuine conversations/debates/discussions.   My church family for 14 years. When I say family, I mean FAMILY. This is a place where people know your name, remember your kids. But it's not just a social club - most of the members know their Bibles very well and are willing to sit down on your time and help you get to know your Bible better, or just encourage you in your walk with God. My kids are 13 and 10 and they love church. They look forward to every Sunday and Midweek. Their peers and teachers are a great group, and there is tons more going on through the week by small groups and individual friendships.

  This is a great church! It's probably one of the most diverse churches in Fresno when it comes to different races and age groups. It was refreshing to be welcomed by so many people the first time I went! While this church is a tight-nit family, they always welcome new people with open arms. They also have such a focus on meeting others needs inside the church and within Fresno County. It might sound funny but I was also blown away by their Facebook page! They have over 20,000 fans and their daily posts are either encouraging, inspiring, or challenging, all which help me through out the day. Joining this church was one of the best decisions I've made!
