  I used to go to this church and I really liked it. The preaching was good and I always came away with something I could use. Then I found out that John MacArthur is an evil heretic. If you are a MacArthur lover, this is the best church for you. If you are a lover of Jesus Christ and believe in forgiveness, love, mercy, etc. Stay away. I was once told that while we need to self examine, anyone who makes you question your salvation is from the devil. Every week the basic message is this: You can't lose your salvation once you have it; but what if you never had it in the first place? They quote MacArthur constantly and my experience with MacArthurites is that they shun, push people from God and judge by what they as humans see with their eyes (i.e. you are not saved because I don't see fruit) Only God can see the heart.

  Riverpark Bible Church is a large church with a small church feel. A welcoming place for anyone that wants to hear what God revealed in his word about sin and the need for a savior. The emphasis in the preaching is exposition of the scriptures. Being hospitable to all guests is our goal. The music is based around the message of the songs be it classic hymns or more contemporary songs. There is a full choir and orchestra and the 2 morning services are the same. I am at home here where Spurgeon and MacArthur and Steadman are quoted and God is recognized as Sovereign. I love being a member of Riverpark.
